Where to Purchase

We are taking pre-orders for fresh (unfrozen) whole birds ready for Thanksgiving dinner. Pick up will be at the Tatamgouche Farmers Market on October 12th between 9am and 1pm. Please send an email to doggartfarmstead@gmail.com with the size of turkey you would like and your contact info to be added to our preorder list. We will send an electronic payable invoice for a $25 deposit. The deposit will go towards your total and is required for us to hold your turkey.

Interested in a frozen Christmas bird? We will also sell frozen whole turkey that can be purchased after Thanksgiving. Please send us an e-mail to be added to our order list for frozen turkeys.

We raise our heritage-bred turkeys using holistic management practices without the use of hormones.

Heritage variety Turkeys grow slower and are raised one and a half times as long as your average store-bought Butterball turkey. This means a richer flavor, less fat, and more protein.

Our Turkeys roam free to forage for bugs and foliage during the daylight hours before returning to the safety of their coop to sleep.

Our Turkeys are fed unmedicated, all-vegetable feed from Masterfeeds Canada.
